The Device

According to whistleblower testimony, S-4 is not merely a section of Area 51 — it is a completely separate facility located approximately 15 miles southwest of Groom Lake at Papoose Mountain. Built directly into the mountainside, its sand-textured hangar doors are invisible from a few hundred feet away, blending seamlessly with the natural terrain.

The S-4 Facility

Eight hangars line the interior of the mountain, each of different sizes, housing approximately nine exotic craft — both extraterrestrial vehicles and human-engineered replicas. The facility extends five levels deep underground, connected by Los Alamos-style tunnel systems. Security checkpoints guard each level. Specialized laboratories handle both biological and technical research.

The construction is comparable to known verified facilities: Cheyenne Mountain Complex in Colorado, built 2,000 feet underground inside granite, or the confirmed secret tunnels beneath Los Alamos National Laboratory. The difference is that S-4's existence has never been officially acknowledged.

The Looking Glass Device

Physical Structure

At its core, the device consists of a barrel-like cylindrical chamber approximately 10-15 feet in diameter, housing two counter-rotating rings of electromagnets spinning in opposing directions. The speed and tilt of these electromagnets can be adjusted for temporal targeting. Mercury or argon gas is injected into the barrel, achieving a plasma state through electromagnetic acceleration. The counter-rotation creates a toroidal — doughnut-shaped — energy field that cycles around a central water pouch.

Visible plasma streams cycle in opposing directions, creating blue-white electrical discharge between the rings. The central water reservoir glows with resonant energy. The field creates visual distortion similar to heat shimmer — spacetime itself bending around the device.

The Interface Chair

Allegedly recovered from a downed extraterrestrial craft, the interface chair enables direct consciousness interface. The operator sits in the chair to establish a neural link. Biometric sensors monitor neural activity while the chair translates consciousness into navigation commands. It's a high-back design with head support for extended sessions — sessions that could last hours as the operator steers through temporal data.

Technical Operation

Initiating a viewing session follows a precise sequence: the operator enters the interface chair, the neural link is established, electromagnets are activated and brought to rotation speed, gas is injected into the chamber, the toroidal field stabilizes, and the operator focuses consciousness on the temporal target. Data streams to monitors, where de-interlacing processes translate it into visible imagery.

The navigation method relies on focused consciousness as a steering mechanism. Electromagnetic tilt adjusts the temporal viewing angle. Different rotation speeds access different temporal distances. But here's the critical detail: the biases and beliefs of the operator affect what is observed. The same temporal point viewed by different operators may show different results.

The Sumerian Connection

According to testimony, Project Looking Glass technology was not invented — it was reconstructed from ancient instructions. The schematics were encoded in Sumerian cylinder seals that slightly predate Sumerian civilization, recopied in both Sumerian and Egyptian artifacts. These seals contained technical schematics for wormhole generation, temporal viewing mechanics, stargate construction, and plasma manipulation.

The seals themselves are physical artifacts — cylindrical stone or clay objects, 1-3 inches in length, with intricate carved designs depicting winged discs, beings in protective suits, technical diagrams resembling circuits and electromagnetic patterns, and gateway imagery. Cuneiform script contains what researchers interpret as technical terminology.

The "seeding theory" proposes that this technology was deliberately planted in the past by P-45s — future humans who traveled back in time after a planetary cataclysm during the Sumerian era, circa 4000-3000 BCE. Their goal: help ancient humans develop technology that would prevent the future catastrophe that created them.

Dan Burisch: The Operator

Dr. Dan Burisch (also known as Dr. Dan Crain) served as a primary operator and researcher at S-4 for approximately 10 years. A microbiologist by training with Q-94 security clearance, his primary role was treating the J-Rod entity for neuropathy disease. His secondary role: operating Looking Glass technology.

The Q-94 document — a leaked report from S-4 written by Burisch in 1994 — contains technical details about interactions with Extraterrestrial Biological Entities. It was passed to Marcia McDowell (later Burisch's wife), who leaked it to researcher Bill Hamilton.

The J-Rod Entity

The entity designated J-Rod is not extraterrestrial in the traditional sense. It is a P-52 — a human from 52,000 years in the future on Timeline 2. Standing approximately 5'4" with large black almond-shaped eyes, pale greyish skin, and a thin, frail body, the J-Rod crash-landed near Kingman, Arizona in 1953.

Two other beings from the circular spacecraft were taken to Los Alamos. The J-Rod was taken to S-4, where it was kept for over 50 years, suffering from a progressive neuropathy disease possibly related to temporal displacement. It communicated telepathically — reading questions before they were verbally asked, responding in the voice of the person questioning it, projecting thoughts and images directly into human minds.
